Rehabilitation
Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) Rehabilitation is a very specialized type of rehabilitation with a collaborative goal to return you to the physical state that you were in the minute before your car accident occurred. MVA Rehabilitation often requires the care of more than one health care provider and may involve blending such treatments as physiotherapy and massage. Other options may include chiropractic care, acupuncture, active (exercise) therapy, and hydrotherapy.
Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is the treatment and prevention of physical injuries and movement problems.
Education and preventative measures help patients gain the highest possible level of independent function.
Massage by RMT
Massage therapy, also known as Swedish massage, is the most common form of massage therapy in the United States.
Massage therapists use long, smooth strokes, kneading and other movements focused on superficial layers of muscle using massage oil or lotion.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a component of traditional Chinese medicine that originated in China over 5,000 years ago. It is based on the belief that living beings have a vital energy, called "qi", that circulates through twelve invisible energy lines known as meridians on the body. Each meridian is associated with a different organ system. An imbalance in the flow of qi throughout a meridian is how disease begins.
Work Hardening Program
Our Work Hardening Program ensures work readiness for injured clients who cannot benefit from graduated return to work programs either due to the unavailability of work or a modified / suitable duties program within their workplace. It can also address more difficult cases where behavioral issues are interfering with the recovery.
